Having been born with skeletal deformities with resulting arthritis and muscular aches and pains, my daily routine is usually accompanied by moderate to sometimes severe pain that analgesics alone do not help. I began going to Dr. Zimmer after a roller coaster accident. I had been to numerous Doctors, Physical Therapists, and Pain Management Specialists for severe headaches. They threw medications at me to the point that I had to take medicine to counteract the effects of other medicines. For years nothing worked. Dr. Zimmer took a genuine interest in me and my problem. He detoxified me and got me off all the medications (11 of them). Over the past five years, he has made my pain manageable and I have gotten my life back. If it were not for him, I would probably be dead by now!
My 8 year old son began seeing Dr. Z a few months ago. He is mildly mentally handicapped. After evaluating him, Dr. Z discovered an amino acid deficiency and recommended a product that would aid in brain function. During High School, I caught mono and for two years afterwards was plagued with what doctors called “post-viral infections.” I soon became allergic to foods that I had eaten my entire life, was constantly getting colds that lasted months on end, constantly felt tired and ached. I even went to the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN to no avail either. “Post-viral infection” they would say. I ran from Doctor to Doctor looking for an answer to feel better. It is very unusual for someone in your field to be so open and honest. Patients usually get treated like mushrooms, kept in the dark, and fed a line of bull. My wife and I were truly impressed with the knowledge you shared with us regarding her Crohn’s Disease and digestion problems in general.
