Dr. Edward Zimmer
Dr. Edward Zimmer, M.S., D.C. received his undergraduate degree in Chemistry from DePauw University in Greencastle, Indiana. He completed his Master’s Degree in Human Nutrition at Bridgeport University in Connecticut. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from the National College of Chiropractic and was voted Outstanding Graduate by the faculty. His specialty is the field of Functional Medicine which focuses on the natural treatments for chronic disease conditions.
Dr. Zimmer began his career in nutritional medicine the same as most. He assessed symptoms and then prescribed the appropriate supplements meant to counteract the presenting complaint(s). He became discouraged and disillusioned with this approach as he found that most of his patients were simply taking “meals of pills”, spending a lot of money and in the long-run were really not addressing the core of their problem. He began the study of Functional Medicine over 20 years ago and connected with the group of natural health doctors across the United States who research and practice the art of investigating the potential causes of disease instead of only focusing on symptom care. His intense study of this method of treatment has led him to become a beacon of light to those who are looking for honest and logical answers but do not know where else to turn.
Dr. Zimmer has been featured on television in Indianapolis and has lectured at meetings in Myrtle Beach, Louisville, Denver, Chicago, Indianapolis, the Butler School of Pharmacy, and the Indiana University School of Nursing. He has become a trusted source of information for numerous medical doctors and nurse practitioners when they have questions concerning natural approaches to treating their patients. He speaks to groups of all sizes regarding the appropriate application of nutrition for health. Contact the clinic if you need a dynamic speaker for your convention or meeting.
Dr. Zimmer is a Christian family man who has been married for more than three decades and has five wonderful children (along with Samson and Vader, the furry family members).
Dr. Eric Burke
Dr. Eric Burke, D.C. grew up on the northeast side of Indianapolis where he attended Heritage Christian High School. Like many, he was first introduced to chiropractic after suffering from an injury (Thank you high school football). Dr. Eric has a passion for helping others share in the same healing experience he received after that injury. He sees it as an opportunity to lead patients and families to better health allowing them to have a better quality of life. He believes strongly that the body was designed to function at a high level and heal and regulate itself when it is consistently given what it needs.
Dr. Burke has been married to his wife Elizabeth since 2014. They live in Fishers with their silly cat, Marvin, and try to live an active and healthy lifestyle. He values faith, family, and relationships, and looks forward to the opportunity to serve you.
